Mr. Michael Zusain was appointed to the Board of Directors for Sonzele Rural Bank Plc on 25th August, 2023.
He is a chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants-Ghana. He also holds a Master’s of Science in Accounting and Finance from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology-Kumasi, Ghana. He also holds a bachelor of commerce degree from University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
Mr. Michael Zusain has over 20years of experience in the Finance and Accounting roles. He worked as an Accountant with Tropenbos International, a Dutch NGO in the forestry sector in Ghana. Mr. Michael Zusain later in his career worked with FHI360, an American based NGO as a Finance & Operations Officer on the USAID/SHARPER project. After his work with FHI360 he moved on to work with another US-based NGO, JSI Research and Training Institute first, worked on the USAID/SPRING Project as a Finance & Operations Officer. He also worked as Finance & Operations Officer on the USAID Care Continuum project. He later became the Senior Finance & Compliance Manager on the USAID Care Continuum project. Mr. Michael Zusain was appointed the Director of Finance and Operations of the USAID Care Continuum project.

Mr. Katuole Stephen was appointed to the Board of Directors for Sonzele Rural Bank Plc on 25th August, 2023.
Mr. Katuole has over twenty (20) years of experience in banking haven worked in Lawra Rural Bank Plc as General Manager, Kpassa Rural Bank Ltd, Nandom Rural Bank Plc, Sonzele Rural Bank Plc etc.
He is currently the CEO of THY WILL BE DONE and THY WILL MEDICAL CENTRE. Mr. Katuole is the Assembly member for Fian Electoral area; He is the Presiding Member for Daffiama Bussie Issah District and also the Dean of presiding members in the Upper West Region.

Eric Zunouh Banye is a seasoned international development management professional with 20 years of extensive experience in designing and managing programs and projects spanning diverse sectors, countries, budgets, scopes, and donors. His expertise spans policy reforms, private sector development, investment promotion, circular economy, governance, climate change, rural economy, agribusiness development, youth enterprise development, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), natural resource governance, and gender mainstreaming. He has a track record of successfully implementing multi-country, and multi-donor projects across various regions, including Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Honduras, Indonesia, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger. His projects have been funded by prominent entities such as the EU, IFAD/AfDB, DGIS, USAID, DFID, World Bank, AusAID, SECO, Global Affairs Canada, MasterCard Foundation, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He has worked in the development field as the Country Programme Coordinator for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Ghana, Country Sector Leader at SNV Netherlands Development Organization and Research Fellow at the UN Economic Commission for Africa.
He has contributed significantly to the field of project management through consultancy and training services for multitude of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), governmental entities, and private enterprises. Eric is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in Project Management at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He is a graduate from the University of Ghana for both first degree and Masters. He holds a Mini-MBA from the Institute of Project Management. Additionally, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Project Management Professionals (FPMP), a member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD) and a Member of the Ghana Institute of Planners (MGIP).
Banye brings his years of experience in investment promotion, strategic management, and rural development to the bank.

Samuel Dery is a Data Science and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist with over fifteen years’ experience in HIV M&E and Public Health Research. He holds PhD in Public Health, MPhil in Health Informatics and BSc in Computer Science and Physics from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biostatistics of the School of Public Health, University of Ghana, where he teaches and supervises students in the Masters in Health Informatics (MHI), Master of Science in Public Health Monitoring and Evaluation (PHM&E) and Masters in Public Health (MPH) Programmes. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, designing and implementing M&E and health information systems, and data science. Samuel is part of a team of experts at the University of Ghana School of Public Health, that has over the years been involved in several biological and behavioural surveys (BBS) among key populations (KPs) and evaluating KPs programme implementation in Ghana. These include mapping, size estimation and BBS among various KP groups. He has also led in several research projects in health supply chain management including: Baseline evaluation of biometrically verifying malaria vaccine delivery and strengthening routine immunization data systems in Ghana; Development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs), standard operating procedures (SOP) and training curriculum to improve health supply chain management performance in Northern and Eastern Regions of Ghana; Assessing the relative preference of Artemisinin-based Combination Therapy (ACT) and barriers/challenges to malaria commodity availability across the entire supply chain in Ghana; Assessing motivation and performance outcomes of public sector health supply chain workers in the Northern and Eastern Regions of Ghana.
Samuel is an M&E expert and has been involved in several M&E consultancies in and outside Ghana. He was the M&E consultant for the development of the 2023-2025 HIV/TB/Malaria Funding Request to the Global Fund for the Grant Cycle 7 application for Ghana. Consultant for Ghana’s HIV Epidemiological Review as part of the Midterm Review of the National HIV and AIDS Strategic Plan (2021-2025). Consultant for the development of M&E framework, data collection and monitoring tools for human rights-related barriers to HIV and TB services in Ghana. Consultant for the revision of the national HIV and AIDS Data Management Manuals and Tools to guide the implementation of the national HIV and AIDS M&E Plans (2021-2025), (2016-2020). He was the consultant that undertook immunization data quality assessment and developed data quality improvement plan for The Gambia in 2019. This was with the support of the World Health Organization and included building the capacity of the country’s stakeholders to undertake routine data quality assessments for immunization.
He has been involved in several administrative roles and membership of committees in and out of the University including membership of the University Academic Board, College of Health Science Academic Board, Admission Committee, Procurement Committee, Finance Committee, ICT Committee among others. He was the acting Head of Biostatistics Department from 2019 to 2021 and currently the Programme Coordinator for Master of Public Health (MPH).

Mr. Christopher Mwinsong Dery was appointed to the Board of Directors for Sonzele Rural Bank Plc on 25th August, 2023.
Mr. Christopher has over Fifteen (15) years of experience in Accounting, Finance and Auditing.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants-Ghana and also has a Master’s of Business Administration in Finance.
He is a holder of Post-Chartered Diploma in Forensic Audit, A member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Ghana.
He is the Audit Committee Chairperson for Sissala West District Health Directorate/Hospital and an Audit Committee member for Nandom Municipal Assembly.
Mr. Christopher currently is the Deputy District Finance Officer of Daffiama Bussie Issah District.
